Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in the city of St. Louis in Missouri. She performed in The Muny Opera. She earned her degree at The University of Missouri Columbia with a BA in Communications and theater. Upon her move into Los Angeles Kelly quickly became active in the stage, choreographing and acting in over two dozen shows. The most notable of these was The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan in Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. As she continued to learn the art of improvisation in The Groundlings and becoming a company member of Theatre West Kelly also started finding roles on TV as well as in films. Her unique voice and petite size has enabled her to play a variety of colorful characters. She's best known as Naomi Watts's scheming Samara from The Ring 2, but her most well-known role is as the fun receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Between 2011 and 2015, Kelly worked as a paralegal in the daytime and a party hopper in the evening as a series Regular in the TV Land sitcom The Exes. Kelly also appeared as Alyssa's sassy, sexpert sister on ABC's Romantically Challenged and as the stressed-out suburban mom in the CW show No Tomorrow. Sopranos voices have been heard in numerous animated series such as Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Her most recent performance was as the dim and charming Cloud 9 staffer on NBC hit comedy Superstore. Her private life is one that is quite quiet, with her two sons under the age of five. She is a lover of sewing as well as write, and she is an active participant in various school activities.
