Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn, an American actor in TV and film, and theatre. Gifted thespian, she is active in the professional world over the last 27 years. Her first appearance on the stage as a character in a 1990 production of The Big Funk (John Patrick Shanley) on Broadway off-Broadway. The Perfect Tribute was her debut TV role a year after. The year was 1992 and she was cast as a supporting character in the movie Basic Instinct. This marked the start of her career career. For The Firm, she played the leading female character for the very first time. She was on the screen alongside Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. The 90s saw her working with many top actors in Hollywood, such as Gwyneth Paltrow as well as Hugh Grant. Recenty, she played Dr Alex Blake (a police procedural-crime drama) in Criminal Minds.
